It’s Important to Remember What’s Important To Remember
There are things that it’s important to remember but that I sometimes have trouble remembering. Like: If an asthmatic eats chocolate in a house that has a cat, she will wheeze. Or: If you drink too much and then don’t get enough sleep, you will not feel great the next day. Or: If you eat raisins while knitting, your needles will get all sticky (which is bad).
On the other hand, I can often remember some relatively unimportant things like how to hang a spoon off my nose or that in England, it’s polite to eat your asparagus with your fingers.
On the third hand (which they installed when I had my second child– no one can do this with only two arms), I have a very hard time remembering that I like the house tidy until it’s time for me to sit down quietly and work. It’s amazing what having to do some work can cause one to remember.
