The good news is…

… that I finished knitting the pieces of Klaralund and will try blocking them tonight, if I can find a spare bit of floor. Pictures soon.
And now I get to cast on something else. Mwa ha ha ha ha. I’m very excited. New projects! New projects! What shall I do? A baby hat for my friend who just had a baby? A yellow Helena hat? A pair of socks for Daniel who is demanding “pretty colorful socks” instead of the very boyish all white sneaker socks in his drawer? A scarf for my mother? Oh, the possibilities. This right here – just before casting on – is one of the best bits of knitting. Something is about to be created. The room reeks of potentiality.
Me me! Make me something. Actually, I want one of those wrist thingees you made for Maria, and that wasn’t knit, was it? OK, you can knit me a hat if you like.
