Loop de London Loop

I was in the Philadelphia Loop for the first time on Sunday afternoon. It was loopdelovely and there were two couches and several tables filled with knitters working on nice projects and who all seemed happy to talk knitting talk. It was like knitting heaven. I may not get there again too quickly, for two reasons: one, no money and no resistance when it comes to yarn, thus making the no money issue an even larger issue; two, no time and I am philosophically (all right, nervous systemically) against taking two children into a yarn store. Still, I will always think about going.

Then I discovered that there is a Loop in London, and furthermore in Islington. By the Angel. Kate, are you listening? On Cross Street. By the Angel. Loop. Yarn. Very. Nice. Store. Kate? Go now. Make them stock Malabrigo (this color is called Paris Night) because it makes everyone feel happy.

And remember, if agonizing about appalling lack of political action, knitting makes everything A-OK.
