The Many Merry Days of Christmas

Yesterday I wrote that today was the third day of Christmas. In fact, if we want the twelfth day to be Epiphany, then Christmas is Day 0 and today is only the second day of Christmas which means we’re only up to turtledoves, the Holy Innocents and there’s plenty of time left for mince pies, mulled wine and Cranium. Hooray and pass the pfeffernusse.

The model trains at the New York Botanical Garden were still fun, though. As was the boulder maze and the Gingerbread Adventure. A lovely time was had by all until I came home and realized that today was a Tuesday and was apparently a work (eek!) day. Work? Gainful employment? I sometimes worry about how suited I am to a life of constructive but unlucrative pottering.
