When I read that story I thought that, as a woman, I am only as useful as a goat and I thought, “What does a man have to pay for using his wife as his goat?”
Boy, and I thought dating was difficult around here….
Sure, we can chuckle…for a moment. And then it hits…a DOWRY?? FOR A GOAT??
Wait a damn second. I know we’re supposed to support and embrace ethnic differences. But if this same village practices Female Genital Mutiliation, I think I’d rather be a goat.
