Mo better purple

So honestly, if I wanted some purple i n my life, I didn’ t need to fall down the stairs to get it. I have an amazing SP who will provide. Have I mentioned that she rocks? She’s also really patient because I had this package at least a week ago. Check this all out:

Purple yarn, stitch markers and soap and cookies (eaten), French hot chocolate (stolen by Ed), tea (in cupboard already being drunk).

Due to the latest scratch and sniff technology, if you rub your finger across the monitor, you should be able to partake of the most amazing smelling soap. All right, I’m lying, but this soap smells beautiful. It’s called Lemongrass and that’s what it smells like — not like some sickly sweet imitation of a good smell. It’s on the dresser at the moment so I can smell it without actually having to use it. I’m savoring, you know. I’ll sud later.

Look at these stitch markers. Aren’t they beautiful and purplyblue? I actually needed more because I’m knitting (not knitting because I have too many projects) the Landscape shawl and I really like these. Like jewelry for my knitting.

These purples are far more attractive than my contusions. Aurora 8, baby! I love this stuff. I’m trying to think of something I can knit that can incorporate both these beautiful yarns in a kind of textural paradise since my SP did such a good job of matching the shades. I love how they go together — and if you have ideas about what I should knit, tell me!

Thank you, thank you, SP. I love everything. I’m glad you had fun at Stitches West and hope you treated yourself well too.

I am glad SOMEONE is getting spoiled.

My secret pal seems to have fallen off the planet after she sent me a couple of books that one time.

Sadly and rather unjustly, the person I am supposed to be spoiling has suffered as a result because let’s just say, I am less than enthusiastic about this whole secret pal thing now.

Sorry for being so slow, but it just occurred to me that your blog title “I do my own stunts” is more true now than you’d probably intended it to ever be. (Maybe it’s time to look for a stunt double!)

Hope your back is feeling okay – sometimes it gets a little worse before it gets better. I’m sure you’re sore today.

Your knitting creations are wonderful. I’ve never knit, and I am so impressed. I’m sure I’d end up with a pile of yarn and a big mess. :-)
