“Where do our grandparents live?” asked Helena.
“In New York,” said Daniel.
“In New York?” said Helena.
“Yes,” said Daniel. “In New York City. Which is in New York State. Which is in New York Country. Which is in New York Continent. Which is in New York World. Which is in New York Solar System. Which is in New York Galaxy. Which is in New York Universe.”
Which, in fact, is pretty much true. We, however, managed to achieve escape velocity and are on our way home.
LOL – I think Daniel would make a good New Yorker… I get the feeling that his sentiments would be accepted and lauded there.
So, how did you genetically imprint that old “New Yorker” cover into that little boy’s DNA? Funny, most native New Yorkers share his observations exactly. Funny boy.
