No, no! Wrong Dorothy!

I found this little device (called gnooks) via The Bookish Girl in which you type in three names of writers you like and it will (apparently) suggest other writers you might like to read. Well, hooray. Give me some of that! I need a new read.

But no matter who I type in, it tells me to read Dorothy L. Sayers. Hmph.

It might be the cookies. My first entries were JRR Tolkien, Terry Pratchett, and Larry Niven, and the program gave me Robert Heinlein. I changed the names until I ended up with Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, and Charles Dickens, but the program kept saying Heinlein. Finally I blocked the cookies from the site, and gnooks gave me Shakespeare instead.

Hi, it’s me again. Terry Pratchett, Jane Austen, and VC Andrews apparently is not a viable combination. :)

How about Elizabeth Gilbert’s _Eat, Pray, Love_? Also, _The Secret of Lost Things_ and _Water for Elephants_.

I love Dorothy Sayers!!! Well, I never actually read any of her books, but I used to love those Lord Peter Wimsey shows on “Masterpiece Theater”……

Finally had a few moments to try this – what a cool concept.. and yet, I too get Dorothy Sayers (again, and again, and again!).
No post from you for a while – lots of good vibes on their way to you, and hope all is well.
