Stuffed! (A guest post)
Today’s post brought to you by Stuntfather.
She’s a miracle. Seriously. The first Thanksgiving we’ve hosted since Cairo (and that was of necessity not the classic Thanksgiving), and the first major social event in the new house, and it all went as close to perfectly as anyone could imagine. Happy children, well-fed adults, the juiciest turkey in history, piles of all the good stuff on the side, many pies, some very drinkable wine… And in the middle of it all, Stuntmother doing all her own stunts in her own way, totally in charge, making it all happen. (Looking pretty hot, too)
It is really not easy to take a mix like we had here today – three generations, two national cultures, one stressful time of year – and produce so many happy people. There wasn’t a whole lot of the official ideology going on – pilgrims, God and country, exploited natives – but insofar as this is a celebration of family and other good things in our lives, we gave thanks in style. And so do I, for the amazing woman who will be utterly embarrassed by this post. She’ll just have to live with it.

Good on you! I always knew you had it in you!
On another note…
you may want to strangle me, but I’ve tagged you for a meme. I know, what a jolly good fellow I am.
(Anyone who can effortlessly glide through a day like your husband described can surely cope with a meme…… ?)
Anyway, the rules are on my blog. Accept or decline… do with it what you will.
She is amazing. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
awwwwwwwww….
this was so sweet
How marvelous that you appreciate her so openly! You are both truly blessed.
How amazing she is! And what a lovely appreciation you wrote.
What a lovely post!
Yay, Stuntfamily!
High-five the StuntMan who praised his wife so. She deserves all that praise and then some.
